Resource can provide you with nearly all the same Select Services. How to use them is the same as BT, as listed below.

Choose to Refuse

Lets you stop nuisance or unwanted calls. You can block up to 10 numbers.

Callers who have had their call rejected will hear an announcement stating that their calls are not being accepted.


Call Diversion

Call Diversion lets you divert calls to another phone number. So whether you're out of the office or just away from your desk, Call Diversion means you don't miss out on important calls.

You must switch Call Diversion on first if you also want to use Call Barring.


Call Waiting

A stuttered dial tone lets you know when another caller is waiting to speak to you.

Call Waiting is not compatible with Ring Back.


3 Way Calling

This function enables you to introduce a third party to a call.

Setting up Recall wait for dial tone
  Dial second phone number
  Wait for answer Recall 3

To talk to two callers separately, press 2 instead of 3 when the second caller answers. If you want to switch between the two callers, press Recall, wait for the dial tone and then press 2.

Ending the call hang up


Reminder Call

Your phone will ring at the same time you programme it to.

Use the 24 hour clock – for example 7.30am is 0730 and 4.30pm is 1630.

Ring Back

Don't waste your time re-dialling an engaged number. Simply dial 5 when you hear an engaged tone, wait for a confirmation message, then hang up. When your phone rings, pick it up and wait for the other person to answer.

Ring Back is not available for calls to ISDN lines, International destinations and some multi-line switchboards. Not compatible with Call Waiting.


Caller Display

Shows you the number that’s calling you - only works with equipment that has the appropriate display.


Call Barring

Resource can help manage your business telephone bills by providing a Call Barring service that allows you to prevent calls to certain numbers.

1 Bar almost all calls – cancelling this option also cancels any other options you’ve barred

* For customers on certain exchanges, this option will also bar premium rate services.


Anonymous Call Rejection

You can stop calls from people who have withheld their number.

Once the code has been entered an announcement will confirm if the instruction was successful. For setting up call diversion from the same phone number, please refer to Call Diversion settings.

Call Minder

Can answer your calls and record messages on no reply or if the line is engaged. You can also record your own message, store up to 30 messages of which the maximum message length can be 5 minutes.

Call Minder Premier

You can have several separate greetings e.g press 1 for sales, 2 for operations etc. The system can send out clear messages that your line is engaged, that you are away for sometime or just unable to answer at that time. Call Minder Premier comes with a total of 5 mailboxes and can be expanded to 9 mailboxes. Please see the attached user manual (link to Call Minder premier.pdf)
