Resource Utilities is a dynamic and ambitious company striving to build on its hugely successful past to become a major player in the telecoms arena. Resource Utilities realises this a big statement to make but believes with the correct steps this can be obtainable. Resource's ultimate aim — One monthly utilities bill.

July 2008
Resource has expanded its portfolio to include M2M (machine to machine) solutions for businesses. Offering highly discounted ?sim? line rental and data packages, we specialise in security (cameras) and equipment control for both home and business users. Our expert programmers can write and design software to maximise your M2M usage.

March 2008
Resource launch contract free mobile 'Freedom Package' for businesses on the new Gamma network (a seamless combination of the '3' and Orange networks). Line rental is only £2 per month and customers get the freedom of pay as you go, but without the costs: just 15p to mobiles and 5p to landlines.

September 2007
Resource offers customers the cheapest business line rental in the UK. A massive 30% cheaper than BT’s standard rate, that’s just £31.50 (ex vat) per quarter if you sign up to our services for 12 months.

Resource announces its unique call tariff for high volume short density calls (45 seconds or less). If you’re a telemarketing or call centre and your call profile matches our criteria we can give you calls at just 0.5p per minute daytime, evening or weekend – This is not on VOIP and there’s no loss of transmission quality. We use a Tier 1 carrier in conjunction with BT lines. Resource is the only company in the UK offering this rate.

August 2007
Resource offers Free Unlimited Calls between ‘Resource’ mobile phones. The new mobile phone deals also include £75 cashback (or new handset) and cross network calls from just 6.7p.

July 2007
Resource launches 20/20 campaign. For all customers who sign over their business landlines, Resource offers £20 cashback and 20% off BT’s standard line rental charges.

March 2007
Cutting the cost of Business phone calls
Resource announces its new Call Cap service. Customers never pay more than 5p for a business landline call or 25p for calls to mobile phones.  Call rates are 30% cheaper than BTs.

2005
July - Resource launches £13 a month 2Mb Broadband Service
September - Resource launches new website. 2004
Jan - Resource launches broadband ADSL service. Resource's 4 main telecoms services are now all on onebill.

2003

Aug - Resource becomes one of the first BT wholesale partners and led the field in automating BT's line rental transfers. Resource can now take over BT line rental from customers and give a 10% discount. May - Resource becomes and Internet Service Provider and launches flat rate internet surfing packages.

2000
Resource Utilities becomes a landline reseller licensed by Oftel.

1999
Resource Utilities Ltd, formerly Dial 4, formed. It has since built on its considerable wealth of knowledge and expertise in telecoms.

Resource Utilities also expanded its operation from being a national outfit in 1998 (Dial 4) to include operations in South Africa.
