Phone calls setup

All we need to know is what phone numbers you want to register with us and what type of line it is (ie Single, ISDN, Featureline). We'll do the rest.

CPS:

Using CPS (carrier pre-selection) means you don't need smart-boxes (no more call leakage), manual access codes or PBX programming - BT will route all calls via Resource at the local BT exchange. CPS works on BT lines only, except for BT's Low User scheme and BT payphones. For BT Featureline a special BT form needs to be completed.

Cable company lines:

If you haven't got a BT line you can still route calls via Resource. We will provide you with a special 11 access number which will give you an immediate dial tone to make your calls. This process will only take 4 seconds longer than your normal calls and the rates are the same as our normal tariff.

Welcome pack:

Within 7 working days of signing up you'll receive a welcome pack from us confirming the lines and services you have signed up to and the dates you'll go live with Resource. Within 7 days, you'll also receive a letter from BT or your old telecoms company confirming that you are transferring you calls to us. You do not have to respond to this letter.

Premium rate numbers:

For your protection we automatically bar premium rate calls (0906 etc), but this can be removed at your request.

Billing options:

For larger companies we can provide CD-Rom bills with free call management software. For companies with multi-sites or home-workers we can at no extra charge incorporate cost centre coding and various management summaries. Examples of online billing and CD-Rom see below:
